Reduce the appearance of damage to the skin caused by acne and accelerated periods of growth.
Book TodayOne of the main causes of facial and bodily scarring is acne, which can leave pits and marks in the skin. Stretch marks are caused by tears in the deep collagen layers whenever rate of growth exceeds the skin’s elasticity. Stretch marks are often a result of rapid growth during teenage years, and for women they can develop during pregnancy. At Epsom Skin Clinics we treat your skin to reduce the depth and visibility of scars and reduce the appearance of stretch marks.
Acne scars and other minor scarring can occur anywhere on the body. Acne tends to effect the face, back, and upper chest most of all.
Stretch marks can occur wherever the skin has been stretched through rapid growth, but tend to show most visibly on the hips, buttocks, and thighs, and on the stomach due to pregnancy.
The FNS Microneedling Pen is a handheld device which penetrates your skin with thousands of microscopic needle columns, triggering and encouraging the skin’s natural repair process, inducing the replication of your skin stem cells, stimulating your collagen production, and enhancing blood supply. Essentially, the skin repairs itself from within.
The Erbium laser focuses heat energy in the treatment area, removing old skin cell layers, which carry the majority of skin wear and damage. As damage is removed and fresh, unblemished skin revealed, your complexion will be revitalised and restored.
Acne scars are found in the upper layers of the skin, which the Erbium laser removes using heat energy. For shallow scars, the entire blemish can be removed, and the same can be true for moderate scarring, whether caused by acne or injury. Deeper scars might be more stubborn, but the Erbium laser will significantly reduce their appearance and even out skin tone.
We apply topical numbing cream to the skin before beginning treatment to ensure discomfort is minimal. Many clients describe the sensation as similar to ‘friction’, but not as painful.
At Epsom Skin Clinics we greatly value the consultation process, during which we listen to you to learn of your concerns and aesthetic goals, on the basis of which we draw up a personalised treatment plan just for you. We will advise you of the best options for you after assessing your skin, concerns, and medical history.
