Piano Mode (Nd:YAG): A non-ablative modality safe for all Fitzpatrick skin types that gradually heats the deeper skin layers to stimulate collagen production and tighten laxity along the lower cheeks, jawline, and neck. Downtime: ~24 hours (mild redness).
SMOOTH Mode (Non-ablative Er:YAG): Safe for all skin types, micro-pulses deliver deep thermal energy without surface damage, specifically strengthening delicate, crepey skin around the eyes, upper neck, and under the chin. Downtime: ~48 hours (redness and mild dryness).

Your clinician will assess your skin during your consultation to recommend the right grade. Grade 1 (30 mins) uses 1 mode to target a specific concern. Grade 2 (45 mins) combines 2 modes to address both surface texture and deeper tightening. Grade 3 (60 mins) combines 3 modes for maximum multi-layer skin rejuvenation.
Piano Mode, SMOOTH Mode, and the SupERficial Peel are non-ablative or mild modalities completely safe for all Fitzpatrick skin types. However, the FS01 LP Resurfacing modality is suitable for Fitzpatrick Skin Types 1–3 only due to the heat generated during fractional resurfacing.
